AIRPORT ARRIVAL – TRANSFER – VISA

After passing the entry authority, you go to claim your luggage, a representative will welcome you with a sign upon arrival at the airport and will bring you to the air-conditioned bus to transfer you to the boat.

please note that for diving safaris you will need to purchase a visa for 25 USD at a bank counter prior to passport control.

WLAN

Connections at sea are very low. We offer wifi connection on the first and last day of the trip.

SPARE PARTS/ DIVE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE / MEDICAL FORMS

We also recommend that you have the most important spare parts, such as mask and a repair kit for your type of regulator with you. Please also remember batteries, gaskets and accumulators for your dive lamp and dive computer.

Dive insurance: It is recommended that you take out insurance up to a depth of 40 meters. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient insurance to cover all aspects of your vacation.

On board you can purchase diving insurance at the cost of 30 euros per week.

Medical Dive Declaration: A medical questionnaire must be completed upon arrival on board.

Should problems, defects, or inconveniences occur, give this information immediately to your dive guide. ONLY then we can help. Do not wait until the end of the safari.

PAYMENT AND CANCELATION

We require a 25% down payment for all bookings and cancellation is possible for 30 days from date of booking only. 75% of the booking price is required 90 days before departure.

CHECK IN & OUT

We need some time to clean and load the boats. Please note that check-in on the first day is not before 15:00. Check-out on the last day of your stay on board will be no later than 10am.

Towels and bed linen are provided, but it is recommended to bring your own bath towel.

First and last night of the liveaboard will be spent on board in the harbor.

The catering starts with dinner on the first day and ends with breakfast on the last day.

TIPPING

As in almost all holiday countries, it is customary to show its recognition and tip your crew for the week

 – an amount of 70 EUR per guest is recommended.

MARINE PARK FEE

The marine park fee was introduced in 2019 as part of a broader effort to protect the marine environment in the Red Sea and applies to all visitors.

Here are some of the conservation initiatives that have been funded by the marine park fee:

 

Removal of illegal fishing nets

Establishment of marine protected areas

Development of educational programs

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Is normally not available on board. If you need rental equipment, please contact us at least a view days before your arrival so that we can ensure that the equipment is on board for you. Price on request.

  • To share your documents with the Egyptian Authorities / Coast Guard in order to receive the permit to cruise in the Egyptian Red Sea 

We use your scuba diving information to match you with diving partners and to recommend dive sites. We use your technical information to improve our website and services. We use your usage information to analyze how our website is used and to improve our marketing efforts.

  • To send you marketing communications: We may use your contact information to send you marketing communications about our products or services. You can stop receiving these communications at any time.
  • To comply with law: We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, such as those related to fraud prevention and data security.
